Product info

Fox Outdoor Cast Iron Skillets for all kinds of cooking! There are three different sizes and these can be used on campfire, on grill, on all stoves and even in the oven for making gratin or pie. Cast iron is known to make the tastiest flavors, and no unhealthy coatings come off at any stage. Cast iron products are also durable, when properly cared for they will last forever.

Here is a heavy and durable cast iron skillet for all kinds of cooking! After all, everyone knows that nothing distributes heat as evenly in cooking as cast iron and no other pan will give you as grumpy and tasty mouthful as when the food is made in a cast iron skillet! Works well with even induction hobs. This model has small spouts on both sides, so the extra grease can be drained from the pan easily.

The Fox Outdoor Cast Iron Skillet is not pre-seasoned at the factory, however, the seasoning is a fairly easy operation. Wash the pan thoroughly, dry well and spread lard or oil on the pan - put the pan in a hot oven at 250-300°C for an hour and the pan is ready for use. After this, remember to use only hot water to wash the pan. Cast iron pans should never be washed with detergents. Cast iron products are basically timeless and last from one generation to the next.

Note: Cast iron pans improve over time. It is perfectly normal for the surface to become more oily in use and for the color of the pan to change from dark gray to completely black. It is the patina that is supposed to be in a cast iron pan, and it is not just a delight to the eye, namely food does not stick to a properly patinated cast iron pan. From time to time, this protective oil surface must be removed, after which the pan is seasoned again.
